*'''What kinds of characteristics do you want in your teammates?'''
 +
The characteristics I find ideal in teammates is good communication and hard work. Both are essential to easily move through different steps of the project smoothly.
 +
*'''What kinds of things make teams go smoothly?'''
 +
Some things that would make the teams go smoothly is to set up deadlines and group meetings. This ensures that people are regularly working on the project and that if something comes up they can talk about it with the rest of the group at meeting so that the team could work together to overcome the roadblock in the project
 +
*'''What kinds of things make teams not go so smoothly?'''
 +
Things that would make a team not run smoothly would be not communicating well with the group or constantly not putting any work into the assignment. If someone doesn't respond to calls from their teammates or doesn't put in as much work as the other members, things are going to be very rough.

Teammates should be able to communicate well with each other first and foremost. If there are issues in the group, they should be able to be open and honest about what isn't going well and what needs to be done to remedy the situation.
 +
*'''What kinds of things make teams go smoothly?'''
 +
The most important aspect of ensuring that everything goes smoothly is ensuring that everyone on the team is on the same page as far as understanding what is expected from whom and when it is expected to be done by.
 +
*'''What kinds of things make teams not go so smoothly?'''
 +
Lack of communication and procrastination. Also, if one person puts in a minimal amount of work into the group project, the others will have to work even harder to make up for it, usually creating tension within the group.

Teammates should be able to communicate easily with one another, and be willing to do what is expected of them. Respect for team individuals is also important, and is expected in a professional setting like working on a team.
 +
*'''What kinds of things make teams go smoothly?'''
 +
Working on teams goes much smoother if everyone communicates with each other and makes sure to follow through on whatever work was designated to them. A positive attitude and consideration for others also makes for a calmer group dynamic, and working together is usually more efficient and less stressful.
 +
*'''What kinds of things make teams not go so smoothly?'''
 +
Team work doesn't go smoothly when there is a lack of communication, such as when people don't respond to calls/texts when you need information from them or if they don't show up to a meeting. Not doing the work assigned to you also makes for a very unhappy team.

#I think the most important characteristic in a teammate is reliability. More important than the amount they do is that they do it by the time they say it will be done and it is done accurately. I would prefer reliability over excellence as it is harder and more stressful to work with someone who does a great job at the last minute than someone who communicates well through the entire process.
 +
#Teams go smoothly when there is good communication between team members and everybody pitches in for what they say they'll do and is prepared.
 +
#Teams don't work smoothly when a group member(s) don't communicate with others and don't try to become knowledgeable in the material. This is especially true in group presentations where one member feeling uncomfortable with the material can tank the entire feel of the presentation. Also disastrous is when one person is not motivated to help the project succeed or just wants to skim by with a passing grade. It's really helpful for all group members to have the same goals and expectations.

#A good team mate would be committed to working hard and figuring out how to reach our goals. I think it is important to be able to think critically and be a good problem solver when it comes to large projects like this one.
 +
#I think that it is very important for teammates to work well together. Not only does this mean being focused when working, but actually liking the people you work with gives motivation to work hard and not let each other down.
 +
#If someone is not focusing or invested in a project, it usually doesn't lead to a good team environment. Also, if someone takes control and only does what they want to do, others will lose motivation to try. It's important to listen to the opinion of others around you.
