Q&A
What is your favorite aspect of biology and why?
- My favorite aspect of biology is that biology attempts to answer the many questions we have about the life; I find biology fascinating as new discoveries are made and there is still more to discover about our world, especially the regions untravelled and the deep waters unexplored. If I were to pick one field of biology, I would choose zoology because I have an interest in animals, especially animal behavior (answering the question of why animals do the things they do). Personally, I am a fan of dogs.
What is your favorite aspect of computer science and why?
- My favorite aspect of computer science is that it has applications in multiple fields. When I think computer science, I think about the technology I own (laptop, tablet, iPhone, smartwatch, etc.) and how all of these computers have their different uses. I find it a great opportunity to learn about how computer science merges with biology in this course of Biological Databases.
