Our Favorite Gene Website
NoteBook
- My partner Mary chose our gene as we mutually agreed she would be better suited to pick a gene due to her status as a biology major.
- We mutually agreed the gene was suitable for the assignment and she did most of the research and documentation.
- I looked over the documentation on our shared google doc.
- I began writing the code for the website shortly after we completed the google doc.
- We chose a few "fancy" bootstrap elements that we thought we'd like to have on our page and added a few as we saw fit.
- The rest of website development was pretty straight forward and just consisted of referring to the bootstrap webpage to mimic how they did it.
- I then wrote the majority of the website code as I'm the computer science major. However we worked together and would periodically update each other on progress on each others respective parts.
Acknowledgements
I worked with my partner Mary Balducci on this assignment. We split up the work between biology and computer science but would frequently meet up and text to keep each other updated. I referred to bootstrap for the website design. While I worked with the people noted above, this individual journal entry was completed by me and not copied from another source.
