Career Interests

I am interested in pursuing a career in veterinary medicine. I'm unsure of which specific animals I would like to work with at this point, but I'm hoping to get experiences with all kinds of animals to help me make that decision.

1. Life Science Building stockroom
   • Stockroom lab technician

   • My responsibilities include: preparing materials for labs, cleaning glassware and tools, maintaining equipment, taking care of animals and plants, and assisting faculty
2. | Oakland Animal Services
   • Vet tech assistant
   • 5/22/17 - present
   • My responsibilities include: checking states of health of animals, prepping for surgery, giving injections, providing post-op care, and assisting vet with exams and during surgery

   • My responsibilities included: helping students with homework and studying and assisting teachers during class
