Wiki Maintenance Notes
- Contrary to what is stated in the MediaWiki manual the
user_newtalktable does not clear out the “you have new messages” banner when a user visits their talk page. To manually clear these messages, invoke the following command on the wiki database:
delete from user_newtalk;
