Electronic Laboratory Journal

Almost all of our work for this week was done in class.

  1. Creating branch:
    • We waited for Blair and Zac to make the fork, and then for John and Eddie A. to make their branch.
    • Then, Eddie cloned the fork, switched to their branch, and made a new branch from there. After that he helped me create a branch of my own.
    • At this point, an issue appeared while trying to get the branch on my laptop.
      • What had happened was; Eddie forgot to push his code after making the branch and therefore the branch didn't exist anywhere other than on his laptop. After he pushed his latest branch, I was good to go.
  2. Cloning and getting GRNsight working locally:
    • Cloning was smooth for the both of us.
    • npm installed well.
    • npm started well.
  3. Writing the list of Milestones:
