Electronic Notebook
To begin this assignment, Quinn and I chose our favorite gene during class. We searched on the SGD database by clicking on the function tab and then selecting all phenotypes. I was interested in genes that helped improve fitness so I looked into that feature and found ADA2. I thought it would be a good gene to look at since we had previously talked a lot about transcription and this gene is involved in that. We then decided to do some research on the gene individually so that when we met up on Monday, we would have all the information we needed to add to our website.
