Hayden and Zach's Zip File

Electronic Notebook

First, we tried to find a gene that was unique, interesting, and challenging. We were aimlessly typing in letters and stumbled upon the BRO1 gene. Of course the name is comical so it caught our attention. The gene itself is interesting as it has to do with deubiquitination, a concept that I learned while doing this assignment. Deubiquitination is when a protein re-enters the cell and is rid of the ubiquitin. Ubiquitin basically preserves the protein from degradation - like when someone puts bread in the freezer to preserve it.

We then decided to go shopping on bootstrap and picked out lists and interesting formats. We then went through the deliverables and applied what we liked on bootstrap to the deliverables.

Although I have had previous experience with HTML, it was nice to review and implement it using Bootstrap. We used tags such as "< l >", "< p >", "< li >", "< h >", and "< a >." We used attributes such as href to put a link into the website.

Acknowledgements

  1. I worked with Hayden throughout the whole process - from picking the gene, to implementing the code.
  2. All acknowledgements for the actual zip file are on the webpage.

While I worked with the people noted above, this individual journal entry was completed by me and not copied from another source. Zvanysse (talk) 19:56, 24 September 2017 (PDT)
