I was unaware of all the technologies and coding that went into storing a database. Data is managed in a way that sometimes has to be secure in order to provide safety to the relative findings. In the FDA example, the data was compressed in a zip file so that users on computers are able to decompress it and analyze it. It is accessible by the general public, but specific people analyzing the data know just how to open and discover different findings about it.
