Ckaplan Week 6

Purpose

The "Learning Access for Office 365" video by Adam Wilbert was super helpful for improving my Microsoft Access skills. It taught me how to use Access for managing data effectively, from sorting files to creating tasks and understanding their importance. The course took a step-by-step approach, explaining concepts like database design, table making, querying, and making forms. This helped me grasp how to streamline tasks and use Access's features to boost productivity. Adam Wilbert's explanations were clear, and his demos made complex topics easier to understand. Now, I feel confident navigating Access and making the most of its features to manage data and work smarter.

Methods

The Microsoft Access course on LinkedIn Learning covered basic concepts about the software, including its advantages over Excel and key terms like queries and tables. It also showed how to build a hotel-themed database using provided templates, with steps for creating tables, importing data, and setting up relationships. Additionally, it explained how to retrieve data using queries. The course aimed to help users understand and use Access for managing data efficiently. Conclusion

In conclusion, the Microsoft Access course on LinkedIn Learning has significantly enhanced my comfortability with skills in data management. Through the course, I've gained proficiency in creating and structuring databases, including understanding how to design tables, establish relationships between different data elements, and import data from external sources. Additionally, the course equipped me with the ability to utilize queries effectively, enabling me to retrieve specific information from databases efficiently. Overall, the course has helped me learn different abilities in regards to handling data effectively and making informed decisions using Microsoft Access.
