Feedback on Week 1 Assignment

I am posting the feedback on your Week 1 assignment here.

  • Thank you for submitting your assignment on time.
  • All of the items listed in the assignment were completed except for the following items noted below. You have the opportunity to make up the points you lost on your assignment by making the requested changes by the Week 3 assignment deadline.
    • Your snail mail address is not quite right. It is actually "LMU Drive" not "Loyola Marymount University Drive". "Department of Biology" would actually appear at the beginning of the address, instead of at the end. Done
    • You wrote something in the summary field 48 out of 66 times (72%). The number of saves tells me that you are saving incrementally, early, and often, which is great. However we are aiming to write something in the summary field 100% of the time, so you have some room to improve on that.
    • Please remove the category "User Page" from your user page. Done
    • Make sure you are formatting your links correctly. It looks like you are formatting links that are internal to the wiki as external links. While this kind of works, it is better to do the syntax correctly. You have leftover square brackets showing up due to this.
    • You used a leading space in front of your external link. I wasn't sure whether this was intended or not. Done
    • Your template looks good. You should go ahead and add an internal link to the actual template page itself because that will be a useful navigation link in the future. Done
    • You are missing you wiki signature from your Academic Honesty statement in your Acknowledgments section. Done
    • You are also missing a References section. Even when there are no other references, you need to cite the assignment page using the APA format for a web site reference.
  • I hope that as a result of this class you will start thinking of yourself more as a biologist!
