Our Enhanced Favorite Gene Website
Notebook
- Arash and I talked after getting the assignment about what we'd like to add to our website, such as the feature for keeping part of the page hidden until a button is clicked.
- Once we decided what to add, Arash did the majority of the coding but made sure I understood what he did and was available for any questions I had.
- On my own, I looked around the BootStrap website for different features we could add, as well as to generally get a better understanding of the html code.
- I also re-visited the SGD page for our gene, HSF1. We neglected to put a summary of the gene in our original page so I read about the gene again to write about it.
- I tried to find a better picture for our page than the photo of bread, but I couldn't find anything that was free to use.
Acknowledgements
I worked with my homework partner, Arash Lari, on this assignment. We spoke after class about what to add to our website.
While I worked with the person noted above, this individual journal entry was completed by me and not copied from another source.
