Purpose
To begin the process of data analysis and its relation to biological datasets and databases.
Methods/Results
- I downloaded the file from [[1]] Assignment Page.
 - I saved the file to the thaw space and renamed it to reflect both the file and my initials.
 - I then uploaded the file onto the wiki naming it to be specified to me.

Data & Files
File:BIOL367 F19 microarray-data wt (1)CD.xlsx
- Working with the wt (wild type) strain
 - There are four replicates for the wild type strain
 - There are four replicates for each time point

Conclusion
When working with a dataset, it is important to start the process by using the best practice of naming a file in a descriptive manner. This makes it easier to keep track of your files and data without mixing up any subsequent versions of the data or other files.
